Where to begin...

The year 2011 has been one which will surely be etched in our brains for eternity. The highs and lows over the course of the year have been substantial, but why harp on the lows?

Thanks to you, our band was able to release our third full-length record. Hard to believe we've already released three of those suckers! Pioneer boiled down to tireless months of hard work, exhausting arguments, and a few tears along the way (not from me of course, I'm a man and men don't cry). But we finally overcame and ultimately released it and I can't begin to explain how good it feels. In fact, it felt so good that we wanted to play the new record in its entirety. Thus, the Pioneer tour was born...

Shit.
Those were some of the most refreshing shows we've done in a while.
Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us!! And sorry to those of you who didn't get a chance to see us, we will be making up for that big time in the Spring!!!!!

My thoughts are all over the place right now, it's wild to think about what we've been through and the great people we've met this past year.

We had the true honor and privilege to share the stage with both Augustana and Taking Back Sunday this year, and it was an absolute dream come true. Such great people who make great music in such humbling fashion. Austin Gibbs and the Bad Rabbits boys, Nevershout, Carter Hulsey, I Can Make A Mess, Mayday the list goes on and on and for good reason: ALL GREAT PEOPLE. It truly has been a pleasure running around with those guys and we wish them all the best in 2012.

We saw a lot of the world this year, Jakarta, Philippines, Australia, Brazil, Chile, Europe. Words can't express our gratitude towards all of those abroad who have shown so much love and support over the past 5 years, we are sincerely trying to play in every nook and cranny in this world and the acceptance we've received from those mentioned above is the reason why. 2012 will be another round of coming to see you all across the world so you better be ready to rage!

I could honestly go on for another 2 hours or so, however I'd rather talk to you about it in person. Thank you so much for making these past 5 years the best days of my life. I am forever in your debt.

Hey everyone Pat here 2011 is about a wrap and we are ready to get started with 2012(our last year on earth) Last year was great but rather than look back I am very excited for what this next year will have in store. We are inching up on the five year anniversary of our band where we will have a special present for all of you for sticking with us. We will be releasing our first music video for a song on Pioneer, more music, a big spring U.S tour and more touring around the world going back to the places we have seen and experiencing more of the world than ever before. We have one more show on the Pioneer tour in Tempe, AZ and then a headlining show in Dublin, IR then we start a 3 week U.K tour and then finish February out with headlining shows in Europe make sure to grab all of our tickets asap on www.wearethemaine.net/tour

We have another week or so at home which will be great and much needed because we don't plan on taking much of a break this year we want to bring Pioneer to everyone who wants to hear it.
